Nepal beats Kuwait by 1 run

Nepal has defeated Kuwait by 1 run in a do-or-die match of the ACC Twenty 20 Cup held at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, on Tuesday.

Kuwait bagged 125 all-out in 19.5 overs.

Earlier, Nepal had posted a modest target of 127 runs against Kuwait.

Victories over Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will see Nepal reach the semi-finals of the tournament and book a place in the 16-team ICC World Twenty 20 Qualifiers, provided Hong Kong lose to the UAE.

Nepal has never lost against Kuwait in any form of the game.
